I took my car for an oil change. The guy did opened up the hood and checked the basic stuffs and changed oil. Not sure what happened, but after I picked up the car, the security system doesn't work as expected.
When armed the LED should be blinking and if I open the trunk or open the door with key, it should alarm. Unfortunately it doesn't do anything. Currently it just works as a remote key entry with door gets locked when pressing the ARM button and unlocked with disarm button. When armed the LED stays ON and doesn't blink. The LED goes off when I turn the key to IGNITION ON. I do have the VRS (Vehicle Recovery System) with a valet button in the side of the cup holder. That seemed to be working but not the usual features of the security system.
