i have in my car a panasonic 908u HU and i just got 2 10" audiobahn aw-1000q subs and a audiobahn a8000t mono amp.

First question- is the subs i have and the amp any good. i got a really good deal on them i got the subs for $60 each and the amp for $100 all new products.

Second question- what type of enclosure would these subs sound the best in. i have a dual bandpass box from my old system but the subs are too long to fit in it so im gonna have to buy another box.

For the price you got them for, it would be tough to find much better.

As for boxes, read this:

if you're happy with them that's what matters.
for a box I'd go ported. not bandpass EVER, and in your case, not sealed due to the limited output you'd get as a result.
using entry level equipment, you want to do whatever you can to get the most out of it, and ported will do just that.
