Hi, I'm going to be getting a 2004 Xterra and was wondering what size speakers are in the front and back because I am goin to be getting components for it. Does anyone also have suggestions as to which would be the best fit. I really want 3 ways so what kind would be the best and any 2 way suggestion would help. My wife has a 2002 Xterra and I believe the speakers are the same....you should have 6-1/2" comps in the front door, none in the back door and 6x9's in the rear cargo area (unless you have the sub in the back then you have only 1 6x9 back there. I don't believe 3-ways would work unless you want to do some custom work to the doors. Go with a good set of comps (CDT CL-61 should fit the mounting depth) in the front doors (I'd mount the tweets in the doors as they're too much in your face in the pillars...experience from wife's Xterra) and replace the crappy 8" sub they put in the back.
