New member Username: TurkenlukzGroveland, Florida United States Post Number: 1 Registered: Dec-04 | I have bought 2 kicker CVR 12inch dual voice coil 2ohm subs. I intend to power these with a JL 500/1. It is a mono amp but has to speaker sets running out of it. Previousely I had 2 12 Mephis Subs, and sold those to buy the 2 CVRs. I have never had any experience with dual voice coil or 2ohms subs. Any Ideas on how I would go about the wiring of these subs, with this amp? Thanks in advance. |

Gold Member Username: GlasswolfNorthWest, Michigan USA Post Number: 6605 Registered: Dec-03 | take each sub and wire the coils in series. after that, wire both subs together in parallel to the amplifier for a 4 ohm load at the amp. you'll get over 250wRMS to each sub. |
