Is this a decent radar detector i picked it up at meijer cuz it was on sale reg 119.99 for 48.87. Did i still get ripped off or did i get a deal? I dont no much about these tho.
It's not top of the line, but it does the job. Cobra owns Cincinnati Microwave now, who makes Passport and Escort detectors, so you're getting similar technology I'd imagine. Not a bad deal for the price. Find some speed traps, don't speed, and see what sort of ranges you get out of it. Maybe make a few passes.
I like using those "you're going XX MPH" automated sign setups cops post now and then. great for testing out radar detectors.. and acceleration. haha
