Sonoma Setup

So far all I have is a Kenwood KVT-715DVD, I have a 2000 GMC Sonoma Ext. Cab, I am looking for an SQL setup, i have $1300 to spend on subs, amps, speakers, wireing, and enclosure supplys. Also i would like some ideas on types of enclosures to build (ie downfire, sealed, ported, into seats, up)

Well...
Are you gonna amp the speakers?
are you looking at component sets or
coaxials?

Next...do you want speakers just up front, or do
you want some rear-fill, and will you be amping
both?

For an enclosure...
youd be better off with a low tuned ported
box for SQL...most likely back-firing or
downfiring.
Wiring the amp(s)...youd best look at knuknoceptz.com
they have great deals on wiring kits, at a more than
fair price.
Subs/amp for subs will depend on the other stuff..

If I were you, Id jump on the deals at eD.
For 800 bucks shipped youd get a complete
system(2 amps, 2 subs, and an awesome set of component speakers.)
you can spend the remaining cash on wiring
and a custom box, and electrical system upgrades.
