I just purchased an alpine 9831, and i love it...however, i am having problems with it not giving power to my speakers.
Sometimes when i start up the car, my hu gives NOTHING to my speakers. my amp and subs power up, but there is no audio coming from the speakers. when i turn up the volume, all i hear is bass. The hu is on, and completely functional though. i can reset the hu, and then power it up and everything is fine, but this is happening about once every 2-3 days, and it's a pain to re-enter all my time correction and EQ settings.
i tried that last night, and this morning, same thing...no audio to speakers. i went in and turned power ic on again, and then off, but no difference...so i had to reset the hu
i don't have an amp powering my speaks, just one for my subs. any other ideas??? could it be i got a faulty receiver?
