^ is what excatly? i have herd use of rubberized vehicle undercoating used as deadening does this work

Theres several kinds...
theres mat(basically a slab of rubbery crap with stickum on one side, and tin foil on the other) and then liquid deadening (has the consistency of heavy pudding, and dries rock hard)
most deadening is basically adding weight(mat, liquid and undercoating/bedliner...blah blah..)
some absorb sound (carpet padding/foams)
your best bet is to use a combination of both.
IMO, deadening it one of the most worthwhile upgrades you can do for the money.
