I wanted to get sum back round info on a Power Acoustik 1800 max watt class D mono amp. I would be running 2 12" solo baric L7's with it and was wondering if this amp would burn out or default or ne thing of that nature because im not too familiar with power acoustik amps. thanks

Hey Adam, I wouldn't be blasting Power Acoustik amp with your subs. I hear they're terrible. If you haven't bought it yet, then don't but if you did, then be careful with it.

I know some one who is actually running that amp and the only issue they have had with it is that the fan went out. He took it back to the dealer and it was replaced and it worked fine he has had it for 1 year now. Powering 2 S10L5 subs. I think it is ok personally.

Why don't you sell your amp to him Land?

LOL because it would blow his L7's out of their basket.

I havnt bought that power acoustik amp, im just looking around right now for a 1200-1800 watt amp, that will give me the best sound i can get out of those L7's. I dont do ebay or anything bidding, i like to see the product and test it if possible. I want a class D amp at a good price, and one that wont burnout on me and one that i have the trust in to crank it up a few notches if i wish.

Some competitions only account for cone area when
making classes.
2 12's would bump him up to a higher class.
