Anonymous | can someone tell me how to hook up an equalizer? does it go from the head unit to the EQ, and then the EQ goes out to the amps? and if i have a 2 channel EQ, does that mean i can hook it up to 2 speakers, or to 2 amps? |

Gold Member Username: CarguyPost Number: 2695 Registered: Nov-04 | The equalizer goes between your HU's preout and the amp's input. The reason why you have "2 channels" on the EQ is cause the radio is "stereo". So channel 1 is left and channel 2 is for the right. |

Anonymous | ok, will the equalized sound be passed to the subwoofers aswell? will i be able to equalize my front speakers and subwoofer with a simple 2 channel equalizer if i have an amp for each? thanks |

Anonymous | ok maybe you didnt understand my question, i want everything in my system to be equalized, ill have 1 amp running component sets and 1 amp running a sub.. i want equalized sound to be passed to both the components and the sub. how would this be hooked up? |
