I have a 1967 volkwagen I'm looking to put a system in. I was thinking about either 1 12 in. or 2 10's... im not sure - suggestions? Also, i have spots for only two 6 1/2 in speakers. I'm looking for quality treble, with decent mid-range from these speakers, as well as the nice vibe from the subs. I have no idea what brand to get for anything? Please help me.

P.S. I have a maximum of $500... minus the amp... not including the head unit.

if i were you and i had 500 dollars i would definitely pick up a set of 10" legacy subs with a 200/1 legacy amp. i think that would work perfect and be "cost effective". plus legacy is a perfect match for the ol' 67. try it out:D
