Adding another amp need help

hey is there any way to hook up two amps? and if i did hook up two amps would i need a strike cap (compasator)?

Hey Kyle, that'll depend on the 2nd amp's power. Your stock alternator can handle only so much power. If they both total around 450W rms, then it should be okay. Adding a capacitor will give you a tight bass and less light flickerings. Just make sure you have good ground for the amps.

k thanxs i will have more questions later or should i just get a 400W amp and also hook up my 200W amp???

do the amps always have to be the same brand for example.. i hook up 1 brahma 12 to a jbl 1200.1 and also a rf1001bd for 1 vr comp 15" 500w at 4 ohms would this work? 2 diff kinda amps

No Sean, the amps can be any brand you like. As long as you have enough power for them, you're fine.

Hey Kyle, as long as you don't plan on maxing out the amps, you should be okay.
