Subwoofers Poping?!?

OK...everytime i turn of the car my subwoofers go "POP" when i lower the volume all the way down 2 0 the subs go "pop"..what is it and how can i fix it?

although i could be wrong, it seems like its a problem with ur wiring. that happened to my system before on a different vehicle when a my cousin put in new carpeting and accidentally put a screw trhough one of the rca's. i would still hear sound, but the rca was being grounded with the vehicle. it might be a variation of things. i would suggest u thoroughly inspect ur wiring and check for malfunctions first.

It could also be your amp,This happens to alot of the cheeper amps(I'm not sure what amp your using)Or you could just have a bad ground on your amplifier.

I've got an older rf amp powering my components that does the exact same thing. i was told its from it not having a soft turn on circuit but i'm not sure.

Its normal...
called "turn-on pop"
I have no idea why.

Sucubus is right and wrong...it could b that the amp is 2 powerful
