I'm about to build a ported enclosure for an Eclipse Aluminum 12" sub. I'm thinking somewhere around 2 cu ft net tuned to 32 hz, what do you think? I'm looking for something that'll hit hard and deep, and have good SQ. Also, is 4" PVC enough or do I need to go larger?
for a 12", 4" ID PVC is fine. sand the edges to round them off after it's cut. that'll reduce any port noise. 1.5-2cu feet is good for the Eclipse, as it's made for smaller than normal enclosures.
