THe other day I was driving around playing music, then went to Dennys, I came out to turn my music back on, and my DVD player(what I use to play CD's and DVS's) stopped working. It would only work when I held down the reset button. So I took out my DVD player, my in dash monitor and replaced it with my old HU.
Now, my old HU has been refurbished(I spilled pop on it, but it worked when I got it back). But after sitting in my basement for a few months it doesn't work, I checked the fuse for the radio, the fuse on the cd player(neither are blown). Does anyone have any idea as to why it won't work? ps- i have already thought that my old HU might not work anymore.
I find it hard to believe people can even install a system without having a DMM handy and knowing how to use one to be honest. Even finding a reliable ground point is easier using a DMM.
