big d Unregistered guest | Must be a newbie...but i'll explain The 3 jl w3's is 3*3=9 (like a w9) would in fact hit harder than a w7 The 2 w3's which is 2*3=6 hits exactly like a w6 Also does anyone think JL is a good choice for this dude? |

The 13W7 has the surface area of two 10W3s in itself, and a LOT more excursion than them. The fact that is has a very strong motor, high linear excursion, and a lot of surface area gives it an advantage. 13W7 will beat the W3s, whether it's 3 10s or 2 12s. 2 12s hit harder than 3 10s. |

My point here is..the answer is ambigous so is the question. This dude probably never even heard of ohms law and he is buying JL top of line stuff. WHY? Because someone at tweeter told him JL is the best yadda yadda yadda. Yea it may be awsome stuff, but this guy only cares about subs "hittin hard" WTF does that mean? In audio forms slang like that should be banned. To have good sound you gotta start with good brains. Negative in that dept. Fishy, I hear ya on that amp, just don't get the JL W0's cause they don't make any audible sound |
