Video screen question

I am looking for some monitors for my truck, and have a question about them.
What is the difference between LCD, STN, LCD/STN and TFT?
Now i know that TFT is the best because of viewing angle, but what else?

And what's the point of putting a monitor in each headrest, and then one mounted in the celing? just seems silly to me.

Also, what is the opinion on which is better two 7" mounted from the celing? or two 7" mounted in the headrests?

Can anyone help me understand this?

#1 only buy tft, the better quality is very much worth the extra money
#2 i'd say the headrest, because when flip tvs a down its hard to see out the back window sometimes plus your not so much a spectacle and heres yet another reason, if you ever decide to sell your car its alot easier to replace headrests than an entire headliner.
#3 most 7"(7.2") i've seen are only lcd and not tft, ya they're cheap(like 90 bucks) but they have the worst picture, i mean horrible. to tell you the truth 5.6 are a pretty good choice, they might seem small but when your face is only a foot from it, it looks dang good. a good 5.6 should cost around 120 to 150 each
