I'm somewhat new to car audio and would like some advice. I'm in a Nissan Armada, and I'm completely dissapointed in my $800 BOSE system. I'm going for price and quality with sharp, deep bass. My aimed systeim includes;
(all infinity, kinda a pet peeve) 1x657w Class D sub amp 4x111w speaker amp Kappa 50.5cs for front Reference 6000cs for rear Perfect 12.1d (undecided sealed box) Crossovers for each
I like my music loud but not blaring so I figured the amps should be fine (i had an MA Audio 2x10" with a Kenwood 700w amp in my old blazer, cranking it 1/2 way gives me a headache).
I'm also keeping my head unit, I love having an in-dash 6cd changer and the factory look will definately help with theft, even though the sound output will suffer... Thanks for any advice!!
P.S. Another idea I had was to simply add an additional low-hitting sub, but getting any type of Bose interconnect with pre-outs costs anywhere from 200-400 dollars total, not including the sub or amp! Am I missing something, or should I just stick with a whole system makeover?
