My car has had problems with my battery in the past (it dies easily when lights are left on for minutes, etc.), and I was told at a local SEARS that subs can hurt the battery. What is the deal here? Is there something I can buy or be cautioned about before I install my subs.

By the way, the car was checked out and it's just that I have a weird problem with the battery. Let me know if there should be any affect.

kevin figure out what your battery problem is first before you install any car audio equipment.
You may have a weak battery if its close to 5 years old. Standard batteries tend to last no more than five years with normal use. (no high output stereo equipment)
