im getting 2 12 vmaxs getting 350watts a peice and want to put them in a ported box. is 2.1 cu ft. per chamber with a 4" in diameter port enough. i am going to tune to around 33 hz.
blare that will sound great what kinda amp you running?
that might be a little too much power 300 is RMS and i know they are sturdy but i dont think the 1 db or whatever you will gain from running them at 350 is worth it....im no expert at all on this stuff thats just my musings on the subject jon can answer that better
i have a 2 channel rosgate 700s amp that does 350 rms per channel. i know it is a little much but i will turn my gains down and try not to turn the volume up to much. i already have the amp so i have no choice. do u guys think i will be alright.
