Speakers: Sony HTIB speakers

OBJECTIVE: Upgrade speakers for under $200

OPTION 1: Polk Audio RM75 ($179) and keep Sony SA-W2500

OPTION 2: Yamaha NS-SP1800BL ($133)

OPTION 3: Polk Audio RM6750 ($230) (Go over budget because its REALLY worth the extra $)

Bob you have a very nice receiver, don't blow it with the speakers. The choices you are giving do not make sense with that receiver. Speakers are the the most important link in the audio chain. If you only have a limited budget you would be better off spending as much money as you can on only two speakers and stop. Wait and save up some more money and slowly build your system.You would get better sound with a pair of Paradigm Micro monitors than you would with any of those 5.1 systems. And throw that Sony speaker crap in the garbage.
