The disc player of my Samsung HT-BD2R home theatre system is faulty and may be beyond repair. The Samsung tecnician advised me to buy a new set as my model is out of production. However, the 7.1 channel speakers and the subwoofer are still okay. My set is barely one year old. Can anyone suggest a substitute disc player that can work with the still good components of my home theatre. The set cost me 800 pounds and I can't just junk those fantastic looking speakers. Shame on Samsung who cannot sustain their products.
