Double Down

Websites all over the net are calling this new KFC sandwich "potentially lethal" and "heart stopping" etc. Hey -- it looks fucking good to me... I wish I had one right now. People need to stop being so quick to jump all over things and worry about their own lives. Seriously.

And check below -- I looked up three burgers which are probably the most popular in the US right now:

The Whopper has 670 calories and 40 grams of fat. The McDonalds Angus Mushroom and Swiss burger has 770 and 40. The Carl's Jr. (Hardees) Original Six Dollar burger has 890 and 54. The Double Down has 540 and 32. So what's the big deal? Is it because it has no bread? Who the fuck cares if it has no bread?

I'd eat it, minus the sauce.

All I can say is I miss Roy Rogers.

All other burgers pale in comparison to those from Kuma's Corner in Chicago, I promise you this. Not to mention the places ambiance. Where else can you order The Slayer?

Call me whatever you want. I like my steak cooked medium, burgers as well. I'm NOT one to experiment on sauces or fancy trimmings. I know there are peeps who hate me for it but still lol.

Great dinner:

Top sirloin steak cooked medium, baked potato with butter with a side of corn. No dessert needed.

You leave like a winner every time. Only snag is the price. That steak dinner costs $25 or more.

Thank god I have a grill out back and can duplicate said dinner for 1/4 cost.

There's nothing wrong with eating pure fat but when you're obese and pushing the limits of your heart enough is enough. Most of these "heart attacks" aren't even all that bad but hey...people have to make articles about something right?

The double down definitely looks good. I may hit up Kuma's one day but I hate that neighborhood =/

What's wrong with Avondale? You should def try it. It's great. Do you eat at Hot Dougs? Smoque?

Chicago has the best food on the planet.

I'm a south sider homie :D By region we dislike the North and for all sorts of reasons. Sadly I've never eaten at Hot Dougs, not yet at least. I have had Smoque though, they have some insanely good BBQ, glad my work had paid for all of that stuff. Restaurants on my list for the Summer around here will be-

Lucky's
Kuma's
Albano's

that's about it, maybe look into some BBQ joints.

Haha I'm sure I could guess some of your reasons. I probably agree. Depending on the neighborhood, you may find yourself surrounded by douchey hipster cub fan types when on the north side. My brother is a die hard sox fan and he lives in Logan Square, it's brutal for him.

El lado del sur es agradable también.

Well, I just had one of these super special KFC Double Downs.
I'm pretty sure it just stripped a month off my expected lifespan.

It was my first Double Down and will be my last. It was horrible, bacon was raw, chicken was soggy. I would rather had a spicy 2pc from Popeye's.

all in all...the Double Down fails to deliver.

You gotta wait a couple days for the employees to learn to make it before you get it. I am going this weekend.

That sounds gross. Both should be nice and crispy.
