Looking for something around $200-$250 for a pair of component speakers or Coaxial speakers if they'll somehow out perform the component set. I have a FI Q with a stock head unit and looking for something that will complement the Q nicely any help will be great :-)

What would you recommend with an amp with max price of $370? also I've been told you need to do a "big 3" if you want to run anything over 1200-1300 W and since I'm running my FI at 1200 would i need to do a big 3 before i start considering buying component speakers?

Don't worry about the electrical system unless you have problems.

Choose your components first then you will know how big an amplifier you need

diamond audio hex - good reviews, especially from brad, a man who chooses his system wisely.

memphis 15msync6 comps - I have them. Nice detail, good punchy midbass. and they don't need a lot of power to get loud.

ednine.2 100rms x 2 @4ohms if you go with the memphis.

I recommend the ednine.2x if you go with the diamond hex's.

Or a jl 300/2. Would power any set of comps nicely.

HIFONICS ZXi6006 ZEUS

could be a different amp though if suggested.

Cool, thanks. My a/d/s 245ix are giving me lots of cone noise and they just don't have the mid-bass I want.

How are yours installed? Enclosure volume?

I fiberglassed my doors. redoing them. But I heard them in a proper install at the shop I go to. Lets just say, is you can install these right, they will be one bad as s set of comps. very nice sq and bright. their not titanium tweets, their aluminum. You can also get silk tweets if you wish I think. I like them a lot more than my cdt hd/m6 comps.

Hmm. I'm just wondering, because I have built boxes for the a/d/s, but they are 5 1/4". I'd like to reuse these boxes, since I can't get anything bigger without some door modifications that I don't want to do. I think they are 4.5x8x8, externally. Stuffed with polyfill. You guys think that would work?

WOW, just wow. came back from hearing my memphis comps. I just love them more and more. They aren't even sealed up. I gotta close up the stock speaker hole and then it'll be pretty sealed up. Probaly do that later and lets see how big of a difference it'll make.

I was looking at the Memphis comps a second ago and it says their rated at 50W RMS Is that right? If so could i buy a Kicker ZX100.2
if it's 2 ohm or Kicker ZX200.2 if it's 4?? (it doesn't say what ohm it runs at on sonic...)

its 4ohms. they can run on 100rms safely. A refurb ednine.2 would do them nicely.
