Bought a Curtis DVD6655 player less than a month ago to watch TV on DVD. This week my remote started failing to respond and by Thursday it wasn't talking to the player at all. I replaced the batteries. I aimed it at my AM radio and I heard that chirping remotes make near radios. I think I butt-dialled some combo of buttons that changed the remote's code. Does anyone know how to change it back? I've tried the Setup/rightarrow3/downarrow6/enter but no response from the player when I hit the power or eject buttons on the remote. The player still works but when you're watching TV on DVD without the up down left right arrow keys you have to fastforward through episode sections and wanting to watch the extras is impossible. Plus does anyone know the universal remote code for this model? Hope you can help
p.s. What is with that one unlabelled (even in the manual) button?
