I just bought a Panasonic HDC-TM700 hi-def camcorder, which shoots at 60 frames per second. When I connect its cable to my desktop I see quite a few different files. Here are the paths:

CAM_MEM folder > AVCHD folder > 3 folders: AVCHDTN (thumbs) and BDMV and IISVPL, all of which contain files.

I have been copying just one file to my desktop, located at BDMV > PLAYLIST > 0001.MTS etc.

Do I need anything else besides the MTS files when copying files to my desktop for editing?
