bernie: You have to buy a gizmo called Viewsat Weather Forcaster or simply WF. Then you install the file. You need a Broadband service always on for the WF dongle.
As to whether it is working right now, I am not sure. If there is NFPS support, it is available at about $35 per month via sada on this forum. Look at his FAQ. It suggests that it will work with a PC using Linux.
