The LCD powers up, There seem to be about 9 vertical sectors appx. 4" in across, that light up in random order and have a tendency to be gray shades in the middle 60% of the screen and show very thin lines of color mixed with the gray as it gets closer to the sides of the screen. You can turn the LCD on with the power button on the side, But you must unplug the power cord to shut it off, Upon further inspection, of the (Input/Output control board) I found component (U10) on the top left side of the board to be missing the center peg. I was wondering if this was intentional by company design or was this a result of a faulty part installed during production. The component I/OPCB # (0171-272-2 92 2). The part is a 1084 over 0722DL on a black square appx 1/2" across and of the 3 legs coming out of the south (bottom), the middle leg is missing. Any comments regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated and thank you for your time.
