OK suppose there is a v-link or weather forcaster.. If one was crazy enough to use it, is it worth purchasing an HD Viewsat.. Will they work since there are only mpeg-2?

Thanx in Advance

I think it would still work in SD mode. But till the dongles come out and some people test them, it is difficult ot predict.

ok there is no standalone bin.. That we are all smart enough to know I would think.. Back to the original question, will any Viewsat HD boxes work in HD? I dont believe any are mpeg 4.. Is all HD now mpeg 4?

Thanx

The Euro/Ecm666 file Dr. Oleg recommends is only available on his home plant Uranus. He doesn't understand that our internet won't reach there. Hopefully the next time he visits home, he will think of us here on Earth and bring a copy back to share. :-)

I own a VS HD, and it is MPEG4 compatible.
