Card Sharing - Dreambox, how does it work?

I believe satellite shops are offering this for, initial cost of $250 for Dreambox and first three months free. After three months $30 per month.

Does the shop subscribe and share the card over the internet. How does it work can someone shed some light?

How reliable are they do they go down as well?

Subash, here is what urs truly is doing,, simplest easier/safer method and no down time....

how get a sub with dn or bell depending on where are u ,
get 2 /3 rec for ur different room share it with ur freinds,
no down time, ...

Just curious as to technology used. is Dreambox card sharing over internet connection?

yes similar to nfusion/ kbox , but more to it, u need to set up server ,linux based, ...not windows...
u need to turn on computer all the times (thats make different than iks boxes)..
it ain't simple as plug and play..
they also have different model so that means not 100% reliable,

sada: I live in toronto. Do you know any person or know how to have sub share on either bell or Dn in toronto. markham area.

i called bell just by curiosity and they gave me the invoice of 40 dollar for just basic package. with 2 receivers.

check with telus... no contract..
telus sattelite tv... same as bell sattelite tv,
