It seems you have a dual output Starchoice LNB. You will need a DTV style 2x4 or 3x4 multi-switch.
Even then you might be wasting your time. A proper LNB for the job is what you should get for $20.

Horse racing OTB channel moved to 105w, use to be at 79w, also the Racetrack TV Network at 95w can be viewed with the right receiver and keys - info is here, under nagra1 95w

If you have a combo LNB linear / circular you will have separate linear and circular outputs to hook up to your diseq switch then you should be able to choose a different LNB setting from your reciever when you scan channels.

For example when you scan 119W which is circular. The setting on your receiver might be LNB1, but when you scan a linear sat like 79W it maybe LNB2. It depends on how you hooked the LNB up to your diseq switch and your receiver type.

I have an Invacom QPH-031 LNB and a Capitive Works 700S so your results may vary.

The switch you have is a 4 to 1 switch for circular LNBs. You have 119, 110, and 91 on it, so there is one input left. You cannot use a linear LNB on that input.
Get a $15-20 Ku band LNB with a LNB frequency of 10750 or less. Even a Digiwave 1189 (intended for 118-119) will work.
You can try Chumley's suggestion, if you want to and then you will know that "not seeing is believing".

NALIN THE CLOWN
He wants to get linear sats, not dn or bev which he already has connected to his switch.

Laughlin, I use the same setup 3 circular lnbs and one linear on a motorized dish all connected to a 4-1 diseqc

I can understand now why you don't get east satellites, I hope that your Linear LNB is in the center of your dish!

Nalin Nyda why don't you stop your stupid azz sh!t
and stop confessing people that come here for help

laughlin: ask a question and Chumley gave him the correct answer
In your post above you tell laughlin
Get a $15-20 Ku band LNB with
a LNB frequency of 10750 or less. Even a Digiwave 1189 intended for 118-119) will work.
In his thread he said that he has a Linear LNB and wanted
to know if it would work on AMC 5 at 79.0°W
and Chumley told him Yes

You are also passing wrong info here by telling him that

Even a Digiwave 1189 intended for 118-119) will work.
It will not work on AMC 5 at 79.0°W or any otherTrue FTA satellite

Now get lost enough is enough for today

Hey Chumley when did the Horse Race channels moved
from AMC 5 at 79.0°W? LyngSat still list them
You said they have moved to 105
Where, AMC 15 KU or AMC 18 C-band and
what TP? again there is nothing listed at LyngSat
on these two satellites for these Horse Race channels.

Chumley: You and your buddy Captain Crook are looking for horseracing channels.
His post does not mention this.

"Can i use this to take in AMC 5 at 79.0i½W
with a view ultra light or if i hook it into the solaris either one works for me. I have a large dish to use also."

You are way out of line when you suggest putting the two outputs of a Starchice LNB with two outputs and two voltages into the only spare output of his disEqC. Don't suggest the impossible.

Chumley: Look at your post

Yes.

At the time you said he could use the Starchoice LNB you did NOT know that he wanted to use it for horse racing channels.
Don't circumvent the issue. You have had a tendency for a very long time to half read a question and answer without thinking.
What complicates the issue is your stubbornness to see reality when it is pointed out to you.
Stop B.S ing and start reading the question and answer it properly.

start reading the question and answer it properly.

Nalin,
79w requires a linear lnb,, you give him a link to fta-bins , where a person has the same lnb and wants to get 119- granpooba tells him to get a circular lnb.- how does that help laughlin ?

I didn't need to know about horse racing , he could watch the color bar screen or telemundo at 79w - I don't care.

So take your own advice and read and try to understand the question before you reply.

Thanks and have a good day !

BTW.. laughlin, I erred when I posted that the horse racing channel moved from 79w, they are still there and at 105w also.

LK answers - Use a Disc switch with three inputs occupied. Put the two outputs of yor Starchoice LNB into the last input and U will get it.
