Go into menu and Dish Installation. Look at your antenna settings.
Post info of what sats - LNBs you have or what channels you were getting.
Normally a new "Blind Scan" works as pointed out by Rossyjess

If people here are going to help you, you should post the basic details of your setup of Dishes,LNBs switches, etc and what channels you had before, the Bin you installed etc.

I used to have Russian channels, PPV, HBO, Cinimax, Straz, I would like to get them back.
I have two satellites, one is double and one is single.
Yesterday, I tried to go to Installation and Advance TTP screen, and the receiver freeze (I did it twice).
What is the problem?

after you select language, you need to do your antenna settings(select sat and assign lnb type and diseqc switch port) -I guess your settings COULD be-
echo 7-lnb type STANDARD diseqc port 1
echo 8,10 - lnb standard- diseqc port 2
echo 3 lnb standard diseqc port3

after you assign lnb type and swtch ports, do a satellite scan

Tooter- my unit just hangs, "freezes".

Here's what I've done:
Selected English as language and the Main Menu screen was displayed. From Main Menu Screen, I had selected Installation and Antenna Setup. Antenna Setup screen is displayed however "No Satellite" is displayed in the left hand part of the screen, and most of the settings to the left are "Off". At this point, the damn unit will not react to any input from remote, and the only way to get out of that screen is to shutdown by flipping the backside switch.

Do you or anyone know what's wrong with my unit? btw wich setting do I need to select for lnb type and diseqc (its in off right now without any satellites selected)

Thanks

Nalin-

BIN V626

System Info: Mode Name x250/150BL
SW Version: APN626A
Boot Version: b-11
Date: 09/29/08

I was able to get into Blind Scan screen without getting stuck. There are still no satellites being displayed. Here's what's displayed on that screen:
LNB configuration: 65535/65535,
Symbol Rate: Full,
Polarization: All,
Scan: All

Please let me know if there's any other info I can provide...

I don't know whats wrong.
You could try selecting factory settings and see if that brings back the satellite list.
if not you can try the factory bin.

1. Open the battery compartment of remote, remove the batteries and then install them again - this may solve the remote problem.
2. What is this? LNB configuration: 65535/65535,
Usually you select LNB type as Standard, Dishpro, Universal 1 Universal two and you will see LNB frequency as 11250 or 9750-10600 or something like that.
You should see the LNB list - but that is not important in doing a blind scan.
