I currenly have a Samsung DLP a Samsung 42" Plasma and a Panasonic 42" Plasma. I have basic cable with no boxes. Just the coax right into the tv. I've been told i should be able to receive my local HD channels without a box. I can receive HD channels on my Pansonic but not on either of my Samsungs. The Pansonic gives me the option to Auto Program digital channels but the samsungs do not. Am i missing something or can they not receive them? All 3 tv's have been purchased in the last 2 years, so they aren't that old.

Which Samsung model?
In order to get HD basic
Yor HDTV must have digital tuner

If I were yo call Samsung Tech Support
They might be able to walk yo thru it
Or yor user manual look under(TUNER)
