Need to get 82-91-97-110-119 using a single antenna?

They are USUALLY WIDE 24" OR 33" and come with a special bracket to mount five LNBs, e.g. http://cgi.ebay.com/New-5-LNB-Bracket%2FLNB-Holder-for-Elliptical-Dish-FTA_W0QQi temZ310064283363QQcmdZViewItem?IMSfp=TL0807041463r25458 So it is best if we can address the customer's need to replace the LNB for 101W with a LNB for 97W, instead of continuing to talk about 20 degree span. The 40 degree catch (e.g. 82-119 or 82-121) is a REALITY. |

Just to bring this discussion to some present day problems for which I have not got any proper solution - Can I use the special LNB designed for 118.7/119W instead of the 119 LNB ON this special wide angle dish? What modification to bracket, etc etc.? |

Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York City in-HD, NY Post Number: 3040 Registered: Oct-06 | The only dish I know that can do 5 sats 40 degrees is T-55 I don't discourage anyone from trying it Yo need the type of bracket that can be adjusted in all directions Tweaking a winegard 33" inch will simply be impossible An oval 33" in width (not the height) with special curvature like the super dish or TERK DTV at best will get yo 30 degrees with no more than one FSS (linear) Once yo set the dish for 97W All other circular channs will be off And vice versa Even placing 97/110/119 on one dish is challenging enough But go ahead try it Yo might have more patience than me let me know how that works I'm more than open mind |

As I state before, dealer is adamant that he will not recommend it for the special LNB for 118.7 (in place of the regular 119 LNB). He complains of the bracket being inappropriate, hence I was wondering about changes to the brackets. There is no doubt that the 82W-119W 5 LNB digiwave Dish works as stated in Toronto |
