Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 9149 Registered: Jun-06 | Lucia: download the full kit and instructions from following URL and study. For a start, you have right PUFF boot, but you don't have a proper PUFF BIN. Everything you need for 2500/Flu to 2700 conversion in one package. Instructions included. Either b75 or PUFF http://public.box.net/2500_full_kit |

Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 9153 Registered: Jun-06 | Lucia: You are knowledgeable. So I will just give you some basic facts here. 1. The 2500/FLU are very tolerant of user abuse. 2. You can always change from one boot to another ie. from b60 boot to b75 boot to PUFF boot, and back to b60. 3. always go through b60 boot and then change to another boot. 4. I prefer to always add 293T or 294T bin after installing b60 boot before doing anything else. This may or may not be necessary, but it bring your receiver back to the days just before the conversion became popular. 5. Always use PUFF BINS after installing PUFF boot and b75 (jvvh, Nkk, CS Lothario, etc) BINs after instaling b75 boot. 6. NEVER USE original Pansat 2700 BINs. 7. For changing to b60 boot use Chancy's special converter Loader. 8. For all other activity use BL updater 1.4 9. If you use Channel Master, tell it that you have a "Pansat 2700 or 3500". 10. Always use DB9 RS232 straight cable. |
