I've tried downloading the new files for the flu (the 240s and 241s), but when I connect it to the cables, the receiver simply displays "On". Nothing ever changes even if i press ok on the remote.

Turn off receiver.
Get Straight RS232 cable (NOT a null cable)
Connect the cable.
Stat BL Updater 1.4
Select BIN.
Get ready to Write.
Turn on receiver and when "b" appears on th e receiver, click on write.
WAIT ... WAIT
If will go through 10-100%, then BURN.
Then when th ereceiver says b-7-5 and stays on 5 do NOT switch off.
Only when it comes to ON switch off.

Remember you still have to set up the receiver with the antenna cable and TV.

Actually the problem persists when I connect the receiver to the television and antenna cables. Nothing appears on the tv screen and it only says "On".

I still get the b75 flashing, but when it gets to On it freezes and nothing appears on the screen and nothing occurs when you press ok or any numbers on the remote.

Gomes: The only thing I can suggest is to redo the conversion.

You can first revert to 2500 using Chancy's reversion instructions.

All this and the exact instructions are included in the Full_kit11A. You will have to unzip the file in a new directory "jvvh" and then read/print the instructions. The reversion is in the "Revert to 2500" directory.
