Turn the main switch off at the back of your receiver. Wait few minutes turn back on.

Also Scan the TPs one at a time,to check for Quality Signal.

For some PANSATs and C00LSATs
As of now DN is working fully well using BINs dated around 22-26 Dec 2007.
BEV has put a different type of ECM causing the older BINs mentioned above to work properly on even channels and the latest BIN to work on odd channels

Similar situation might apply to CaptiveWorks

I put two new Energizers in it, and have already removed the film, but its the same.

I'm only 8 ft away from it too, if i aim it one foot to the left or right it won't pick it up.

all cw remotes are like that i think there is a new unverstail remote for cw and it works real good but if you take the batteries out and put them in the wrong way put remote in other room for 15 to 20 min this will help mack it stronger then put them back in the right way i did it and it made my remote work better you can try it no harm can come from it have a good night

I'll try the reverse battery and see

Also every time the keys update a popup comes on screen tells you so, is this really necessary, is there a way to stop it?
Its not a big deal but when recording a movie you on't want that in there
