Where can I find info on getting HD channels on dish. I have a new VS9000 with board and am pointing at 7 and 8,10.I am located on Vancouver Island south. I tried to find E5 at 129 but can't lock on to it.Dealer said VS does get Mpeg 4 channels. But some others say not. Any help would be appreciated.
All dish HD uses 8psk modulation that the fta manufacturers didn't have brains enough to put in thier HD receivers but they will now sell you a module for an additional $200 bucks.Some hd on nimiqs2 @82* a few good channels too! Well worth pointing your dish for.
LOL, I think they had the brains NOT to build it in as they would have been sued for sure. Be kind of hard for a manufacture to explain in court why they included a 8PSK (Turbo FEC), as its not part of the DVB standard and only DN uses.
