Hello! I already Have the Bev 91W
I was thinking Bev is down and I have extra LNB
I want to add DN 110 or 119 WITHOUT MOVING THE DISH so that i can watch TV . I have 32 inches dish.
can i add 1 lnb without moving my dish?
if so whats the position of the new LNB for DN?
to the right of the LNB of BEV?
if so how far from the LNB of BEV?
thanks to all help!

Are you sure? My case: dish pointing 97W (Intelsat 5). For 91W (Bell) I added one LNB on the left of 1st one (infront, facing the dish) - and I got B3V clear. For 110, should be on the right side, with about 1cm gap from central LNB.

You are right it has to be on the right side if you facing the dish, but I would say it's more likely couple of inches gap ; at least I have it like that.

53 gave you the right answer.
Looking at the Southern Sky
Low Longitude on your LEFT
like Hispasat 1C, 1D @30.oW

High Longitude on your RIGHT
Like Echo 1/2 @ 148.oW

BTW the reason that you are receiving Bev's channel on 91 even tho you have installed the LNB on the wrong side of 97 is they are only 6 degrees apart and Bev's signals are much stronger then 97.

Very difficult if not impossible to get both DN and BEV in one dish without moving dish or skew

Yo'll have to move dish and elevation/skew

If I were yo
Draw a thin straight marker for the (side to side)
And (up and down)
Very easy to move dish back if yo got a marked line

LNB positions must be opposite to orbital locations
Just like your car mirror
- Your eyes like LNBs
- Your mirror is like reflector dish
- Head lights like satellites

So facing dish
91 on Left
119 on Right
91/110/119

Multiple sats require skew
Depending where yo are on earth facing south
3 satellites will require adusting your dish to reflect all 3 as they may not be on straight line with respect to horizon

Check King's Klock for orbit location

thanks guys
right now i have 91W center LNB I add 1 lnb 82W on the left side when facing the dish.
SO NOW WHEN i ADD 1 MORE LNB FOR DN I HAVE TO PUT IT TO RIGHT OF 91W (WHEN FACING THE DISH)????
BECAUSE THE ANSWER BEFORE FROM EVERY BODY IS CONFUSING

Using a flashlight,to represent the sat and its reflection the focal point of the LNB for that sat!!
Shine towards the center your dresser mirror! notice how the reflection angle changes as you move the flash light on a parralel plane to the mirror??

Kinda like doing a bank shot!! Where must the pocket be located using the same point on the rail iftheanglechanges???

Clasp gently

I have never seen so many asswholes.
King Tapeman is saying that facing the Dish
91 on Left
119 on Right
91/110/119
King put your back to the Dish, now you are facing the Southern Skies, now you can see
119 is on the Right. When you are facing the dish
119 is on the Left. Just like the entrance door to your home, looking out the door from inside of your home the door swings to the
Left, looking in from the outside the door swings to the Right.
When you are facing South and North don't you know your Left from your right.
How can you help these newbies when when face
one way and then another way you can't tell
your Left from Right?

King is right just like I was !
I have this setup of 91,97 and 110 !
If you are looking at the dish behind LNB's =
97 in the middle,91 left and 110 on the right side !

Me Ta, you are right, I was right. King was right, Yukon is wrong. Take a look from official description of B3V dish
"ExpressView currently provides 20 inch dishes to its customers. Canadians living in the territories and certain parts of British Columbia & Newfoundland require larger dishes between 60 and 120 cm; these are used to compensate for the weaker satellite signal available to these regions. The 20" dish supports two LNBs. The size of the dish was increased from 18 to 20 inches in late 2001 to accommodate a second LNB to acquire signal from Nimiq 2 (BEV 82) satellite. At the end of the dish's arm, a Y-adapter is found which holds both LNBs. The BEV 91 LNB is in the center of the dish while the BEV 82 LNB is offset to the left. Rotating the dish (ie. modifying the skew angle) changes the position of the 82 LNB while maintaining position for BEV 91".

91/97/110 is ok.

Yo got it right

The One_Eye_Jack must be totally blind
or just got confused

Adding 110 to 91 will be on the right facing dish
Yo won't get 91 and 119 with this dish very easy
But easily to get 91 and 110

Three Steps:
Step-1
Yo must have a space between 91 and 110
(enough for 1 LNB in the middle)
No middle LNB just a space
See picture
Upload

Step-2
Yo must do good skew to get any 2 or more satellites
By rotating dish plate itself
Clockwise if yo are on the west cost
Counter clockwise if yo are on the east cost
Click here to get exact angle of rotation
SELECT YOUR CITY AND MULTIPLE SATELLITES
http://satcalculator.freehostia.com/

Step-3
In genral King's Rule facing the dish
High order Sats on Right
Low order Sats on Left

King there is nothing wrong with my good eye
now lets see if there is anything wrong with yours
looking towards the Southern Skies at
the Orbit locations of 61.5W and 148.oW.
Can you tell me which satellite is to your Left
and the one to your Right?

True south can't be a genral rule as some people must point to South West others point to South East.
It all depends on where yo live on Earth Sphere with respect to Satellite orbit train

So I say as genral Rule of Thumb
Placement of LNBs should be reffered to facing dish not facing its back

Is like asking anyone where is your left ear
If yo point to left ear with right hand
It means yo got answer right with wrong hand
That's all

Just make a note of it

Sukka

I'm just playing with yo

Domy,

Make is easier for you just get a motor and then it will move for you....You are struggling with trying to get 4 sat's You could be getting over 17 with over 2700 channels.....Its alot easer to set up one dish with motor than 2 dish's...
