how many birds can i pick up with the dish1000? i currently have a 3-lnb unit mounted to it and my sattelite place told me i could run another lnb (bev) to the built in switch.

do you think i could run BOTH bev's to this one switch from a disec switch?

just to make this clearer, i have ONE empty port on the built in dish1000 lnb/switch. i could run one coax to it, either 91 or 82 from another lnb.

do you think 91 AND 82 from a diseqc switch?

Dish 300
Single slot 18" round DBS dish that can pick up programming from one DBS satellite location at a time. DBS locations for Dish are 61.5°, 110°, 119°, 129°, 148° and (not used) 157°.

Dish 500
A two slot 18" x 20" DBS dish designed to pick up 110° and 119° simultaneously. However it can be used to pick up 119° and 129° or just one satellite location like 61.5° or 148°.

Dish 1000
A three slot DBS dish designed to pick up 110°, 119° and 129° simultaneously. This dish can be used to pick up 129° and 148° simultaneously.

Dish 1000.2
Slightly larger than a Dish 1000, its integrated head unit has 3 LNBs (110°, 119° and 129°), an input for a 4th LNB, and DP Plus switching to 3 receiver outputs.

Plus Dish 500+/1000+
Same as the Dish 1000 in function but about 5" larger and can pick up the 118.75° FSS location. As a 500+ it picks up 110°, 118.75° and 119°. Adding an LNB for 129° makes it a 1000+.

SuperDISH
105: Specifically designed to pick up 105°, 110° and 119°
121: Specifically designed to pick up 110°, 119° and 121°

Dish Size Mast Use Alternate
Dish 300 18" round 1-5/8" One DBS slot
Dish 500 20"w x 22.5"h 1-5/8" 110° & 119° One DBS slot,
119° & 129°
Dish 1000 23"w x 18"h 1-5/8" 110°, 119°, 129°
Dish 1000.2 25.9"w x 20.7"h 1-5/8" 110°, 119°, 129° Input for 4th slot
Plus Dish 30.9"w x 23.8"h 1-5/8" 110°, 118.75°, 119° Add 129°
SuperDISH 33.3"w x 24"h I: 2"II: 2-3/8" 105°, 110°, 119°..110°, 119°, 121°

119- #1 port/disque
110- #2
129- #3
82- #4
type- DP (dish pro lnb)
freq- 11250...except for the 129 , freq is 10750
22- off
scan -all

Need a circular dish pro LNB for the 82W bev..

I believe U may need a DN receiver always hooked up and powered ON to supply power to the LNB's..

ok, the satelitte store actually said NO to me buying a new lnb. how weird is that.

they said if my lnb worked with 110 or 119 9w (which it did) it'll work with 82.

Since U have a dish pro switch, it made sense u should stay constant and use all dish pro LNB's...what If U want to add more LNB's with a DP switch later...and of course U needed another LNB if U wanted to add another satellite..
