OK. I always do download from a usb to serial my pansat and my viewsat yesterday i do not know for what reason is not downloading anymore i thought is the cable so i buy a new one even so is the same like my laptop is not sending the information any idea why? another thing i do have 4 usb ports and my laptop when i want to transfer read any port as port number 3. to accept it. Please help me all was fine till yesterday. And thank you all for help
your usb to serial driver might have got unintalled or your null or straight cable might be defective...try and intall the driver again and change the port, if necessary in device manager from advance settings. If that doesn't help try changing your cable. that is either null cable or straight depending on the receiver you use
Unistall all ports, restart the computer, let the computer configure the ports, try to connect again. Sometimes, USB ports get dirty and may not make good contact. Try all ports. Have Patience.
