My step dad woke up this morning to find his Multistar box dead. It wasn't a wrong code because the codes been in there for about a week now and I'm using the same one. Any idea as to what happened?

Do not throw the unit away it simple needs a jtag. You have to know some basic electronics to fix it yourself.

Lol stelios I know that. He said to me that last night, the box was working great, he was watching all the channels. Then when he woke up this morning, he went into the living room and the box hadno power on. He tried to shut it off and waited then turned it back on again. But nothing happened. No lights, no noises, nothing.
The code he had downloaded into it a week ago was the 288t. I know this code is good because we are watching our boxes with the same code.

- It could be either internal fuse (easy to replace)
- or It may require Jtag (resurrection from death)

Paying to hide from who...

THEY hiding from all the people they have scammed in the past..

Given the choice between a site where the owner has his name freely listed or a site where they hide... I think I would run a great risk falling into a sting where I don't know who is who..
