need with a dead pansat 2700 na

I had a power cut in my area, and my reciever went dead, I'm unable to to power my reciever on, is it possible for a power cut to do this, please advise what I should to restore this receiver

Yes Barbara for all device its posible than a power cut, affect the device. If you receiver do not turn on, and you already check in another connection, do you need professinal assistant for (maybe) ressistor or any other parts replacement. You reciever still can have fix. Go to a nice professinal repair center. Lucky

Barbara, if you have energy problen in your area, I recomend you that buy a voltage regulator and plug in the equipment you have to avoid those problems. Can find it in Radio Shack
