Tip (c/p)

1. Make sure you use the correct serial cable
for your receiver

2. Make sure you use the correct BIN for your
receiver . If NOT it will BURN out your
receiver .

3. Read first ... until you are sure that you
know what tools (BIN/cable/PC with COM ...)
will applly for your Receiver ...

THEN GET MARRIED :-))))))))))

I only have a Printer Port LPT1 and no Serial Com. I seemed to have made the Printer port a com port, and then I have a cable to connect the printer port to the reciever com port. Still getting resending over again until errors.

Some newbie like me burn out their receiver
because using a wrong BiN !
That why I created this thread is help newbie like me avoid to burn thier receiver . This is
only a WARNING SIGN for Newbie must know before
doing something else .

You can read many threads in this forum which
is relate to subjects like ... cable, problem download, receiver repeat boots up ... may solve your problem .

I have a cool sat 4000 pro and just got a cable from circuit city. Its DB9 that goes into RS 232C port on receiver and the other end goes into the Serial port (printer) into the desktop. I hope I did it correctly but I'm not able to connect it using the loader application... HELP PLEASE.

As I know RS-232 straight (9 to 9 femal) is used for Cool4K .

You can find out a solution in any other threads in this forum (read...) . This threas is only
help newbie before "download BIN" should know .
Not help to solve a problem OR How to do . Sorry
about that .

please help me trying to flash my 2500 but soy nuevo and cant get it to work i have a 2700 and did it fine but it was by chance cause im not to good with computers changed cable to a db9 ayuda por favor ??????

2500 use straight cable
2700 use null cable, except any clons than use too straight cable too. go to dss**tester.com pansat area and download the right bin for 2500 and loader. Lucky

When comeback from pickup your 8 children, do you need straight cable, for 2500 change the cable.
