But any way I bought a pansat2500 or so i thought Before i got my cool sat what i got was a clone peice of crap. so this morning i got the clone out an said well its crap so nothing to lose i flashed it an its working. with the pansat 2500a bin
So those that have clones can use the pansat 2500a bin. Though keep in mind clone users that you should use at own risk, and be prepared to jtag in the event of problems.
This bin will DEFINITELY kill all your 2500 clones...within 2 days..get ready to JTAG...have fun!

Mine is crap any way so im not to worried about it. I loaded it at my own risk. Knowing there was a chance i would fry it. I have a viewsat and cool sat. I payed for a pansat and this is what i got Needless to say i was pissed. Thanks for careing though LK.

Go to dsscommunity. com thats where i got it sign up for free then download it in pansat 2500 area. But like LK said it could or will fry your box. Use at your own risk i took the risk because i didnt have any thing to lose.

the pantec 2500 is a clone if it dies with the bin i flashed it with so be it. i havent seen one that says clone safe yet maybe i missed it but i took the risk because this thing is not a very good stb and i have two others. This is the name of the file i used x-85bl_060609_277_au_api__850.zip Its at dss community use at your own risk or wait for the clone safe bin. i was just testing

Hello Everyone, I downloaded the X-85BL_060609_277_au_api_ bin file to my reciever using Blacklist STB UPDATER 1.3, After that when I connected my reciver to the T.V. I was hearing only hissing noise and seeing only Black screen. Then I reloaded previous bin file Pansat-Clone2500a 273v4 Tivo to check if I messed up my reciever but when I connected this to TV it was showing Menu screen.
So my question is why does the new bin file does not work on my reciever do I need/updated version of a new Blacklist Uploader.
