I have had my Ultra for about two weeks. When I first hook up the Dish Pro digital dual lnb everything works fine for a few hours. Then the screen will go out. I'll check the Signal strength and the level is 20 and the signal is 0. When I hooked up a new head, it did the same thing. Worked for a few hours and then went bad again.

Please help.

I bought the cable from Home Depot and the receiver is a new receiver.

My brother took the head off and put it on his system, and it wouldn't work either. It's like the heads are burning out. Could the cable do that if bad?

U are leaving receiver power on/plugged in when changing heads (LNB) and burning them up..

Home depot cable doesn't mean a thing either...they sell 50 different cables..!

That is exactly what I was doing. Thank you so much, and I'm an idiot.
I can't believe I was doing that.
I hope that is it.
