Fortec Ultra NO channels(from ebay) I bought my second fortec lifetime ultra from ebay.This receiver looks like my other ultra on the front but on the back it's connections were a little different-Europian Model(like no s-video,no coax line out for tv,two big black plugs,)This receiver did not have any echostar sats in the satellite list.I tried different bins and boots but still no echostar sats.I finally jtaged it took of the original mem and replaced it with the mem of my WORKING ultra.Now it is a clone of my first one.Turned it on and the echostar sats are in the lists,but when I do a satellite scan,no channels are down loaded.tried reset factory settings-scan,no programs found.Power scan-no programs found.I've entered the keys in manualy-scan,no programs found. Did I just get ripped off from ebay? I'm not the only one with this problem, have read of others! Sat signal is fine,receiver even sees the signal(quality good-strength good)straight throught wire with no switch.Tried my other receiver on this wire and worked great. What Now .... ???
