Which unit is most poplularly sold? Pansat. Which unit encompasses most FTA's in the market, PAnsat. Which unit should they address to replace as many as they can in a clone kill to sell more units? The Pansat, this is the most widely sold and installed unit base out there!
Why a clone kill? To make money, not that they are affiliated with the original manufacturer in any way. Think Pansat wants to be sued by Charlie to close their doors? This is silly. These thieves and vandals could care less. That's right, anyone who codes clone kills is a theif and vandal to steal a buck with intent.
They know killing and ird would make the buyer purchase another unit, perhpas a different one or an upgraded model, this is all they are interested in. Not selling more of the orginal brand where once bitten twice shy and they wouldn't buy another unit that got fried to begin with. Too many older units out there they want to replace and make a buck, hence, call it a clone kill.
They fry clones AND originals, they fry them all. Where have you heard ONLY clones get fried. They fry them both. An equal number are effected by this, don't be fooled. Why run any overheated code on any unit to burn a CPU or diode that is not clone safe to be sure!
The clones for the most part are identical to the originals so how they find the difference to attack and fry one only is beyond me. This is why they fry originals and clones.
The scam is to fry as many receivers as they can to steal a buck and not that the group called "Black List" has any loyalty to any original manufacturer. You think they care is Charlie sued Pansat? They just want to sell more of anything, and the Pansat seems to be the ideal target, clone or otherwise. Where have you EVER heard ONLY clones get fried? They both get fried equally.
Its a scam to rob the masses of money with these coders capital driven and spend relentless hours hacking for a fix. The bugs only enhance their making money!
The good old Dave days of many freely contributing are gone. Look at the sites you D/L your fixes from, are they doing it for free? Mili is the biggest scammer out there and he copies and pastes files on a massive scale. The old free sites all advertise something now. Too few are into this hobby for free. Most are capital driven. Some even sell support for the free files we can get off the net a day or two later.
Thank goodness there are still a few good guys out there that make the code safer to keep everyone here running risk free of burning their FTA investment.
Patience is a virtue when waiting for a stable fix again. If it isn't clone safe I wouln't even write it on an original to be sure.
Well that's nothing new, similar posts were posted on al7bar when the first clone killer bin was released in dispute of BL's claims that it wasn't intentional, which was obviously bullsh1t, "oh sorry folks, how did that get in there." It was clear then what he was doing and it's clear now, only a bunch of BL as$ kissers over at future-fta were so oblivious to it that they just let it slide.
Week 1 (a wait for bev bin): "BL is GOD!!!"
Week 2 (post bev bin): "F U BL, my receiver's dead" > user has been banned (for bad mouthing the God).
