I am trying to get true FTA channels on a C-band dish. I understand I have to have a KU band LNB and a C band lnb and satalite reciever/positioner. I assume I hook the KU band cable to the FTA reciever.
Has anyone done out there tried it. I got a dual LNB setup for my dish but the FTA reciever doesn't see anything. I can find the c-band satalite no problem. I am on the edge of the satalite footprint ( I need a 1.8 meter dish to get DSS) could this be my problem. I get acceptable signal on the c-band.
If anyone has gotten it working I would appreciate some advice. Like what satalites are strong and how you set up the FTA reciever.

There is a section just about C band dishs and FTA at www.al7bar.tk ...U should go there...BIG UGLY dishes area ,its called!...and yes many use it and get TRUE FTA channels..
