I just purchased Samsung SGH-U700 and paid alot of money for it (but its unlocked and tri band phone)but anyways, the reception in this phone is very bad compare to the moto razr I had before. I was wondering if there is some kind of a setting I have to do or what within the phone to make the reception better or whatever is possible to make it work a little better. any help is appreciated I use this phone in Canada and the service provider is Rogers.
Rogers work on the 850/1900 band and U700 doesn't have 850 band built in, it only has 1900 band thats the reason your phone doesn't have a good reception. Some times you can find a signal boosters from a private shop and/or you will have to get a phone that has 850/1900 band built into it in order for it to work for Rogers.
